How CiC is Structured Internationally

CiC has an International Co-ordinator who is appointed by the Board of CiC International. The International Co-ordinator has the responsibility for training and equipping national CiC Co-ordinators. As the National Co-ordinators develop the work of CiC in their nations, each nation will have its own CiC National Council.

The responsibilities of the Board of CiC International are as follows:

1.  The appointment and oversight of the CiC International Co-ordinator.

2.  The governance and oversight of the CiC International Council.

3.  The governance and oversight of CiC in the UK, including the appointment and oversight of the CiC UK Co-ordinator and the oversight of the CiC Ministerial Council as elected by the members.

4.  The governance and oversight of National CiCs in the early stages of their formation, including the appointment and oversight of CiC National Co-ordinators and the appointment and oversight of interim National Councils. (As National CiCs become established, National Councils are elected by their members, with governance and oversight being handed-over to national governing bodies.)

Membership of CiC International is open to any independent church, ministry or network from around the world that satisfies the membership criteria. Once National CiCs are established as entities in their own right, they are granted membership status within CiC International as member networks and have voting rights as such.  (All networks within CiC maintain their own accountability structures, which have to be rigorous and CiC-compatible.)
