Easter Members email - 8th April 2020
Dear CiC Members,
This morning I made contact with one of our healthcare chaplains. He was waiting at the crematorium to take the first of three hospital funerals scheduled for today. It was a sobering conversation, and yet one full of hope. Meeting people at their point of need with a message of peace and love, against a global backdrop of fear and anxiety, is a remarkable privilege, and an opportunity.
It reminded me of the incredible difference you are making at this most challenging time. Together, as we respond selflessly to the crisis, society will be reminded about the vital role of the Church in restoring hope and supporting those in crisis. When restrictions are lifted and the rhythm of normal life resumes, I am convinced that the Church will be invited to play a central part in the rebuilding of lives and communities left devastated by the pandemic.
Here at CiC, we want to ensure that we are doing everything we can to help facilitate your precious contribution in this testing season. Below, I have outlined how you can access our latest guidance, information and resources in response to coronavirus.
Website: The CiC website has a page dedicated to coronavirus, complete with links to relevant resources and to our recent publications.
Social media: We are now sharing links to the latest information for faith groups on our Facebook page. Please ‘like’ the page for our posts to feature in your news feed.

We, as a staff team, send you our Easter greetings and stand with you in steadfast love and prayer. A video Easter message from the CiC President, Revd Dr Hugh Osgood, will be shared with you shortly.
Yours in Christ,
