Residential Information and Information
Dear friends,
It is encouraging to write to you just moments after the prime minister announced that further restrictions are soon to be lifted. Let's hope and pray that this means we are inching closer to normality.
On that note, we felt it important to share with you about this year's residential and annual members' meeting. Last week you endured(!) a rather long, but hopefully helpful email, in which we sought to unpack government guidance about churches and lockdown. So rather than present you with a fresh novel, we prepared a video, which you can watch below.
I'm sure you'll agree that after the horror of recent events, our annual residential and members' meeting will be more significant and important than ever. We really do hope that you can join us. With limited spaces available, please book early here to avoid disappointment.
Now it's tempting, at the thought of restrictions easing and the prospect of being together at the CiC residential, to hope that the next few months pass by as quickly as possible. However, it's important not to miss what God is doing in this season. To help us gain a healthy perspective, the president of CiC, Hugh Osgood, shared his thoughts with the members of Free Churches Group. You can read his encouragement here.
Finally, if you wish to subscribe to the Free Churches Group newsletter, you can do so at the bottom of their website.
We pray that you and your loved ones continue to stay well and safe.
Yours in Christ,
Paul Garratt
On behalf of the team at CiC
